All awards will be conferred on a pan continental basis. Awards will therefore not be awarded on a sub region by sub region basis. However in the interest of inclusiveness deliberate efforts will be made to ensure as wide a spread of awardees (both institutional and individual) in geographical terms as possible without compromising quality and credibility of the awards selection. (See selection criteria below.) Awards will be conferred in three segments as follows:

• Sovereign institutions of state, public enterprises and state owned enterprises.
• Bilateral and multilateral institutions closely involved in at least two African countries
• Individuals in executive management positions in the aforementioned types of public institution, agency or state owned enterprise.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

No fees are required for nominations. However, all award winners will be required to register by filling a form to confirm participation for the event. Indeed the only pre-condition for conferment of an award is a commitment to attend the gala awards conferment event in person with regards to individual awardees and their guests and delegations from award winning institution, agencies and state enterprises.
